Onsite Home or Cottage Service

First hour included
Onsite computer troubleshooting, laptop support, or technology setup at a home or cottage.
Additional home or cottage time is billed at $110 per hour in 15-minute increments. Travel may apply.
Windows Performance Tune-Up
Startup cleanup, updates, storage review, and general performance checks.
Hardware repairs, malware remediation, and data recovery are separate.
Malware Cleanup & Basic Security Hardening
Malware removal, browser cleanup, updates, and review of basic security settings.
Severe infections may require an operating-system reinstall or additional work.
Operating-System Reinstall & Basic Setup
Operating-system reinstall, updates, core applications, and basic account setup.
Data backup, data transfer, licence costs, and replacement storage are separate.
New Computer Setup & Standard Data Transfer
Set up a new computer, move core files, and configure common email and applications.
Large, damaged, encrypted, or complex transfers may require additional time.
Install a compatible SSD and complete a basic migration or operating-system setup.
The SSD and other required parts are separate.
Desktop Memory or Simple Hardware Upgrade Labour
Install compatible desktop memory or other straightforward desktop replacement hardware.
Parts are separate and compatibility is checked first. Laptop hardware requests may be limited to support, compatibility review, or referral guidance.
Connect, configure, and test common printing and scanning functions.
Onsite travel or broader network troubleshooting may be separate.
Backup Drive Setup & Basic Recovery Check
Set up a customer-supplied local backup drive and verify a basic restore path.
Backup hardware and cloud subscriptions are separate.
